sewing a patch on my BTS hoodie

some time ago I bought a BTS hoodie because I liked the print on the back:

while I sometimes listen to k-pop, I don’t want to walk around with a huge BTS logo on my chest. I tried to remove the logo with rubbing alcohol, but there remained some glue and you could still see the logo:

so I decided to sew a “patch” on top of it. since all my (preferred) black fabric didn’t really match with the fabric of the hoodie, I decided to go with this asian-style, colorful fabric:

very opposite from black :)

this was the first time I was using a roller cutter. it’s amazing how easy and accurate it is!

this was one of the rare occasions where everything went flawlessly. not a single mistake happened. perhaps this was because I was still kind of sick and recovering, and thus took things very slowly…

I even thought of securing the (black) thread at a spot where you don’t see it easily (the black part of the patch):

wohooo! happy with the result :)
